it is more likely you will be born with 1 kidney if you suffer from UD is this true??

Possibly, because I was born with it too and I have been told that my dydelphys could be the cause of the many other problems i had as a baby like my tofs/oa and holes in my heart, but at the same time there are many others who dont have any of these problems.

Yes, kidney anomalies in patients with uterus didelphys is not uncommon. Various anomalies occur where single kidney is one, but it can also be anomalies of the ureter. I for example have two ureters from the right kidney to the bladder. For most of us it has no implication for our health other than that it is good to know if you ever have to undergo surgery in the abdomen. If you only have one kidney there could be negative implications if you should ever get kidney failure.
